We celebrated Grandparents Day at Scoil Chóca Naofa today and what a fabulous day we all enjoyed! Many thanks to all the wonderful grandparents and grand friends who came to our school to join with us in celebrating this happy day. We had fun in the classrooms when they came to visit and share their stories with us. See below for a small sample of the fun they shared.
Later they enjoyed a lovely cup of tea in the Halla where our wonderful Parents Association arranged some refreshments. Our older classes called to visit and entertained them with a lovely medley of poetry and song. Many thanks to our teachers who helped the children prepare for this event. This was a lovely day for the entire school community.
