Here are the stats for week 3 of our February Run Challenge:
Junior & Senior Infants:
The boys and girls in Junior and Senior infants did fantastic running this week with a combined total distance of 242 km this week. That is equal to the distance from Kilcock to Cork City. Super dooper!
First & Second Class:
The boys and girls in 1st and 2nd Class managed to cover 462 km this week. That is equivalent to running from Kilcock to Letterkenny and back! A wonderful effort.
Third & Fourth Class:
The boys and girls in 3rd and 4th Class completed an enormous total of 416 km this week. That is the distance from Letterkenny to Kinsale . Amazing effort.
Fifth & Sixth Class:
The girls in 5th and 6th Class really upped their game this week with 728km covered. That is the distance from Buncrana, Co. Donegal to Waterford and back up again!
The grand total is:
1926 kms were covered in total by all of the children this week. This is equivalent to the distance from Dublin to Madrid, Spain. Well done boys and girls.
School Staff:
Our school staff managed to collectively span the distance of 1400 km– the distance from Dublin to Toulouse, France
