The boys and girls of Scoil Chóca Naofa have taken part in National Bike Week (NBW). This forms part of our bid to attain our 9th Green Flag: Global Citizenship -Travel. The children practiced their bike skills through engaging with Cycling Ireland Skills videos each day. Some children even cycled to school every day, parking their bikes in our new bike shelter, provided by An Taisce. Each class had a raffle and some lucky children won some wonderful prizes including helmets and LED lights. Everybody got a sticker and some jellies for their wonderful participation.
