We have some wonderful news to share. In the 9-11 year age category of the Texaco Art Competition which is celebrating its 70th anniversary this year, Danil Korolko (age 10) from Scoil Chóca Naofa Kilcock, won third prize for his work entitled ‘The Big Bang’.
Danil’s artwork is described by Final Adjudicator, Gary Granville, Professor Emeritus of Education at the National College of Art and Design as “art through which the artist gives us his unique and vivid impression of the original ‘Big Bang’.”
Many of our children at Scoil Chóca Naofa entered the competition this year and we are very proud of Danil and his achievement.
